Effective: May 2026. HealthCostHub is operated from the United States for US residents only. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights under California law.

What we collect

HealthCostHub does not require an account, never asks you to submit medical information, and does not collect personally identifiable information (PII) through forms on this site. We collect only:

• Standard server log data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, referrer URL, timestamp. Used for security and aggregate analytics.
• Anonymous analytics via Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity. These tools record general page-view and interaction events, plus aggregated session recordings (Clarity). No personal identifiers are stored.
• Calculator inputs you type into our tools stay in your browser only — we never transmit your numbers to a server.

Cookies and tracking

We use first-party cookies for site preferences and third-party cookies set by Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, and (when present) Google AdSense. You can disable cookies in your browser; the site remains fully functional without them.

Advertising Disclosure

HealthCostHub displays advertising via Google AdSense (when active) and may include affiliate links to financing companies, dental discount plans, insurance marketplaces, and healthsharing ministries. Advertising and affiliate revenue support the site; we receive a commission when readers apply for or purchase products via our links. This does not change the price you pay and does not influence editorial coverage. See the Affiliate Disclosure for specifics.

Your California rights (CCPA / CPRA)

If you're a California resident, you have the right to:

• Know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose.
• Request deletion of personal information.
• Opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of personal information (we do not sell personal information; cookie-based advertising and analytics may constitute "sharing" under CPRA).
• Limit use of sensitive personal information.
• Non-discrimination for exercising these rights.

How to submit a CCPA request

Email info@healthcosthub.com with the subject line "CCPA request — [know / delete / opt-out]" and tell us which right you want to exercise. We respond within the 45-day statutory window per CA Civil Code §1798.130(a)(2). Verifying your identity may require additional information limited to what's necessary to authenticate the request.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

To opt out of cookie-based advertising and analytics sharing under CPRA, configure your browser's Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal — we honor GPC as a valid opt-out per CA AG regulation §7025. You can also email the CCPA request address above with the opt-out subject line.

Children

HealthCostHub is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a child has provided personal information, email info@healthcosthub.com and we will delete it.

Scope — US only

HealthCostHub serves US residents only. We do not target the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or other jurisdictions outside the United States, and we do not offer GDPR rights through this site. Visitors from outside the United States: please use a US-based healthcare information source appropriate to your jurisdiction.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as services or laws change. Material changes are highlighted at the top of the page with a new effective date.
